The European Championship for Juniors in Le Mans was a week full of sports, fun, and valuable experiences for Amber Hennes and Allegro. The duo felt fit and well-prepared, and from the very first day, the atmosphere within the Belgian camp was optimal.
The Team Test went smoothly and flawlessly, with a lovely harmony between rider and horse. Together with teammates Anna Peeters, Emilie Herweyers, and Charlott BlΓ©vi, Amber delivered a strong performance. Their collective effort was rewarded with a proud 5th place in a field of 15 strong countries β an impressive result to celebrate.
The next day, the Individual Test was on the agenda. This test presented more challenges: Allegro was a bit less enthusiastic, and some decisions during the ride did not turn out as planned. Nevertheless, focus remained intact, and Amber, along with teammate Emilie, managed to qualify for the Freestyle on Sunday.
The Freestyle competition was a beautiful conclusion to this week at the European Championship. Despite the minor setbacks earlier in the weekend, the connection between Amber and Allegro remained strong, and they joyfully performed their final test in Le Mans.
The Amber Hennes Dressage Team looks back with satisfaction on this participation in the European Championship. The experience, the atmosphere, and the support from everyone who followed along made it an unforgettable week β not only for Amber but also for Allegro.
Thanks to all sponsors, supporters, family, and friends for their help, encouragement, and trust. The focus now shifts to the autumn, with new goals and competitions on the horizon.
